08 Kids on Course

The Childhelp Washington Area Chapter held a very fun and successful event yesterday at the International Country Club in Fairfax, Virginia. The Kids on Course golf tournament was well attended by business leaders from the area including ASG Security, Avalon Bay, BOWA Builders, DBI, Don Beyer Volvo, Gannon, General Dynamics, Grubb & Ellis, Hilton & Somer Esq, HITT Contracting, Lehman Smith & McLeish, M&T Bank, Spartin Planning, Sugar Oak Holdings United Air Temp and Verizon. Former Washington Redskin Ken Harvey showed his support by joining a foursome for a round of golf. Rebecca Cooper of ABC 7 News hosted the dinner and awards ceremony after the golf. She did a masterful job of mixing in the fun of raffles and prizes with the very serious discussion about Childhelp and it's mission in the prevention and treatment of child abuse.
